Quality bag, but dubious mounting brackets.
I must say at the outset that I will not be mounting this bag on vehicle roof bars, as intended, but will be fitting it on top of a trailer upon which I already have a basket frame, and roof bars. I checked the measurements before buying, and it fits snuggly inside the basket. Unfortunately, this causes a conflict with the location of the roof bar mounting points, which caused me to find a work-around. It will be secure once mounted, but I would advise any prospective buyers to check the distance between roof bars, as positioning might prove critical. The bag itself is fantastic quality, but this is to be expected when there are similar products available at half the price. I did get an additional nylon strap in the package, which is not shown on the list of contents in the instructions. I’m still at a loss as to what it is for.
